Senior Macroeconomic Analyst

Task Requirements:

  • Continuously monitor and collect macro – economic data from various reliable sources. Analyze trends in economic indicators such as GDP growth, inflation rates, interest rates, and exchange rates.
  • Provide regular forecasts and reports on economic outlooks, which will be used to support strategic decision – making within the company.
  • Provide timely advice on how to respond to policy changes to minimize risks and maximize benefits.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate macro-analysis reports and presentations for senior management, investors, and other stakeholders. Effectively communicate complex economic concepts and analysis results to non – economic professionals.

Qualification Conditions:

  • Educational Background: A master’s degree or above in economics, finance, or a related field. A doctorate degree is preferred.
  • Work Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience in macro – economic analysis, preferably in financial institutions, research institutes, or large-scale enterprises. Experience in the Hong Kong market is a plus.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Python, and Eviews, and data analysis tools like Excel (advanced functions).
  • Strong skills in economic model building and forecasting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in Thai, Malay and Tagalog is a plus.

Certifications:

Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) are highly desirable.

Salary:

Business Intelligence Intern/Part-Time Analyst

Task Requirements:

  • Assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain and update databases and information systems.

Qualification Conditions:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Vietnamese and Tagalog is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
